After 4 meetings for my review at work and 9 months of waiting I still don't have my written feedback to set my KPIs. I have emailed the notes from each meeting with action points, but have not received a response let alone any movement of the actions. I mentioned this to HR as I am seeing no progress and feel I am being marginalised as I'm now 5 1/2 mths pregnant and they don't see my career progression as a priority... was I unreasonable to escalate this to HR?
after all these are THEIR procedures not mine!

Kayano · 13/07/2012 22:40

There is whole section called employment issues where they will understand your jargon Wink

NoOneEverCared · 13/07/2012 22:40

Key Performance Indicator?

RandomNumbers · 13/07/2012 22:43

hah, what Kayano said actually

HumpheadWrasse · 13/07/2012 22:53

How hard is it to set kpi's? Why would you need four meetings. I would decide what you think your main objectives for the last nine months have been, and send an email to whoever 'they' are to inform them that these have been your kpi's, if they wish to make any amendments please give feedback and you'll amend your focus accordingly.

Key Performance Indicator - eg: goals you agree with your line manager or boss

I'd go with Humphead's advice - if they will not engage with you, set your own KPIs and inform them. Keep a copy of all your emails/letters etc, and they will be unable to argue about it later.

Yes! Manage up, set your own KPI's using SMART methodology. ;)
