To be pissed off with DH for waking me up

DS doesn't sleep very much at all, so I get very little sleep in general. This morning he slept until just before 6, a rare 'long lie'.

However I was awake before 4 after being woken up nearly falling out of bed. DH was on his back, snoring, his head in the middle of the pillows, his arms spread out and legs diagonally across the bed. This pushed me onto the very edge of the bed hence nearly falling out.

I then couldn't get back to sleep thanks to DH's snoring. Didn't succeed in waking him so had to turn him myself.

Being tired makes me very grumpy.

YANBU But he was asleep, I suggest poking him with a sharp stick :)

Buy a 6ft bed and earplugs. DH doesn't snore but we have the big bed. I hardly know he's there. :o

Aaaaand here we go:

Leave the bastard! :o

ErikNorseman · 12/07/2012 08:06

Separate beds :)

I once woke up mid air after DH pushed me out in his sleep... I would suggest a King size bed or bigger if you have the space...

Does your DH wear nose strips? Might also be worth a go.

Superking bed and ear plugs sorts these sorts of problems out.

I would've got up and slept on the sofa/spare room in your shoes.

DH and me sleep in different room - we both snore, although his are great big snorty chainsaw grizzly bear snores and mine are delicate little musical ladysnores Grin but after I gave him a black eye one night when I snapped and twatted him viciously Blush we arranged separate rooms. It is wonderful Grin

Buttwart · 12/07/2012 10:21

I'm campaigning for different rooms. DH is an utter twat when asleep - snoring, noises, lying on me, hitting me etc etc.

:o @ pombear!!

I think you may be on the wrong thread, CheshireDing.

But I'm still sorry to hear about the poo bum.

CheshireDing · 12/07/2012 20:26

Ha ha, OMG!!

SLIGHTLY wrong thread, ! God knows what I wrote on the correct thread about OP's DH Grin

COCKadoodledooo · 12/07/2012 20:37

The Victorians came up with the 'share a room but not a ceiling' idea I believe. Bloody good one if you ask me.
