Ok. Next month we are moving. Dp has great idea that in the morning I will pack at old house, in the afternoon I will unpack. Dp will drive over in the evening with car that I have loaded up. I will then go back to old house in the evening to carry on packing and tidings etc. In addition to this I will still be cooking and cleaning etc as I would normally. Dp works and I don't drive so I can see his thinking but aibu to think I am going to be doing everything whilst looking after a pre school dc as well? P.s arrangement will still stay the same on his days off.

He's delusional. Wine you'll need some of this.

Em, No. DP can pack in the evenings with you, you can do a bit during the day while DC is napping. What age is DC?

I did this before as DH was working and in college, but I still expected him to help a little. DS was 1.5 at the time, I put him in a big box with some toys while I packed, he loved it:)

Oh, and tell DP you're getting takeaway!

Dc is 2 and has just stopped his daytime nap. Also have another school age dc so Dp has to be in in the evening while they sleep

Yes but either you or he packs. Take turns. He needs to help, it'd be impossible with two around. And sod the cleaning for a few days, just do dishes and laundry and go back and clean it all when it's empty, much easier!
