"It looks like a big blue smiley face, mummy."

"What does dear?"

"Your bottom."

It's not that big!

Anyone get any similar 'compliments' from their dc to make me feel better? :o

Yes ds told me my belly looks like It needs ironing lol

Pascha · 11/07/2012 18:41

Dare I ask where the smiley face is?

ChrissasMissis · 11/07/2012 18:41

Not a "compliment" exactly, as DS is 1yo and can only say "cat" ATM. However, his current favourite game is to pull up my to and slap my belly fat until it wobbles. It makes him shriek with laughter. Whilst I quietly die inside.

From my DS when he was about 3

I like your tummy mummy, it's like play-dough.

Unfortunately he's now 9 and it's not any better Blush

DunkyWhorey · 11/07/2012 18:43

Mine used to say I was like a "lovely bouncy castle" Hmm

No longer!

CaliforniaLeaving · 11/07/2012 18:43

Grin Aren't three year old lovely.
My son told me (when he was about 3) not to lose weight as my belly was nice pillow and it would miss it. Blush

Ds (5) did tell me I needed to go on a diet last month, although tbh he was right of I wasn't 14 weeks pregnant (although hadn't told him do can't blame him)

foolserrand · 11/07/2012 18:45

Pasha, I'd like to think the smile is the pertness of my rear and the nose, the hem of my jeans but I don't dare ask for the truth

All this flattery is enough to turn you to Wine.... or gin... or cake.

Today after me and dp were talking about work and when I was going back:

My ds 5 - "What work do you do Mum?"

Me - "Just for now, I am a mummy to you two."

Ds - "Nothing then."

JamieandTheOlympicTorch · 11/07/2012 18:57

When one of mine was 3 he said to me at breakfast

"Look at your fattist (sic) bottom"

TequilaMockinBird · 11/07/2012 18:59

When DD was about 4, I took her with me one day to buy a new bra.

She shouted rather loudly from the changing room "WOOOOW mummy, that thing which holds your lungs up is huuuuuuuge"! Blush

We then had a long drawn out conversation about the difference between lungs and boobs Grin

I've been told that I look " much older than daddy" and my nose is really really big.
