The Wimbledon mens singles final is on at the same time as the British Grand Prix?

I've set the Grand Prix to record. Those Wimbledon presenters better not spill any info about the race!

Even worse it is my DS birthday party this afternoon. I am so annoyed I can't watch the tennis.

50ShadesOfGreggs · 08/07/2012 08:34

Oh goody! 2 things I couldn't care less about are on at the same time.

Looks like I will be out walking in the rain then :)

Blueoctopus · 08/07/2012 09:02

I'm not impressed either, currently trying to convince DH to bring our caravan tv down ( it's in the loft) and connect it up do I can watch both. He's not interested in the tennis but does love F1 so I may have a chance.

Sparklingbrook · 08/07/2012 09:04

I think I am going to watch the F1 and record the tennis. If grumpy chops wins I will watch it, if he doesn't I will delete it. Grin

Blueoctopus · 08/07/2012 09:13

Also if the race runs with no stopping for rain ( which it should) and the Tennis goes to 5 sets it should work out that you can watch the race then switch to the tennis for the end.
DH has just suggested we go and buy a new tv with picture in picture. I don't think so.

McHappyPants2012 · 08/07/2012 09:16

50ShadesOfGreggs loves the name.

couldn't care about either

imnotmymum · 08/07/2012 09:18

Watch Grand prix, have Murray on in background if he looks like winning then watch rest of that whilst keeping eye on Grand Prix.

Sparklingbrook · 08/07/2012 09:19

BBC1 or Sky for the F1? I miss Brundle and Coulthard together. Sad

Summersend · 08/07/2012 09:36

BBC still for me - love the agro between DC and Eddie Grin

Sparklingbrook · 08/07/2012 09:39

I like Brundle's grid walk. But I like to see what awful outfit Eddie is wearing. Grin

Summersend · 08/07/2012 09:43

Yes he does have special shirts! Although that's countered by DC's TMI white chinos

EndangeredOtter · 08/07/2012 09:50

You only need to watch the last 3 laps of f1 anyway, or am I missing the point?

Sparklingbrook · 08/07/2012 10:13

First and last Endangered. But it's Silverstone today and that's more special. Wink

ifeelloved · 08/07/2012 10:19

Excellent the roads should be clear when we're driving home later!

Sparklingbrook · 08/07/2012 10:21

Check for floods though ifeel. Sad

JeezyPeeps · 08/07/2012 10:24

Oh there's a lot of excitement in the middle too! Totally missing the point!

Hate tennis, love F1.
Easy decisionGrin

footphobic · 08/07/2012 10:38

Tennis, F1 and Tour de France fans here so I'm not sure how we're going to work that one????

sashh · 08/07/2012 10:38

What 50ShadesOfGreggs said

JeezyPeeps · 08/07/2012 11:01

Wow footphobic, that's a tough call!

ifeelloved · 08/07/2012 11:09

Am in Oxfordshire wanting to get home to se London. I'm hoping there are no floods!

NicholasTeakozy · 08/07/2012 11:16

Easy decision for me. BBC2 for the MotoGP, then the red button for Moto3, then flick over to see who's winning the Grand Prix before concentrating on the tennis.

Sparklingbrook · 08/07/2012 11:20

OMG is the MotoGP on as well?

NicholasTeakozy · 08/07/2012 11:32

BBC2 now!

Sparklingbrook · 08/07/2012 11:33

Oooh thanks Nicholas. Grin
