My son had to see the education physcoligist to be statemented. I had a copy of the report today and it has left me feeling very angry with DS teacher.

She has been fantastic all year and has worked very hard with him with very limited resorces, she was the one who did all the reports and paperwork to get DS statemented.

I have asked her serveal times is there a problem in school as ds seemed distant and didn't want to go to school, in which she said he is a well liked member of the class and there is no problems, in the report it says diffrently saying he often gets upset in class because he cant do the work and calls himself thick ( god knows where he got that from as nobody to my knowledge has called him thick)

Should i leave it or say something to his teacher, he is in year 1 so will be going to the same school after the "summer" hoildays

I'd speak to the teacher and just find out her exact take on the situation. Just explain that you are confused because it seems you are getting two conflicting reports about your DS's school time.
