22c where I am but the sky is a horrible dark grey and everywhere is like a swamp and smells of wet dog (I don't own a dog!)

Out in the swamp garden with dd and the sweat is pouring of me and I feel all itchy/bitten.

Think we are needing a really good thunder storm to clear the air?

We had it here already, the muggy weather, has been peeing down for the last few days.

Rain - FUCK OFF!

It is raining here and it's made no difference .

In fact, it's barely stopped raining for weeks now!

I hate it too. I can't get up and walk to the next room without breaking into a sweat. Horrible.

YANBU. I can't sleep at night and my daughter has heat rash :(

It's not stopped raining here for days , although the sun made a brief appearance earlier.

Can't decide if I prefer the torrential rain or the sticky black oppressive heat

But usually the rain freshens everything up. Why isn't it?

it's all the worst bits of winter (rain, mud, grey skies) with all the worst bits of summer (claggy heat, insects) and none of the good bits of either (cosy nip in the air/sunshine).

And having just taken two dogs out for a mudbath walk, I can confirm that the wet dog smell is even worse when it's coming from two actual hot wet and muddy dogs.

YANBU. I wouldn't mind a thunderstorm if it cleared the air.

It's really affecting my asthma.

Affects my mood.

yanbu - I'm utterly miserable. I've got a huge pile of baby clothes I want to wash and hang out to air before due date on 25th July and its just not going to happen. I'm hot, pregnant, clammy and completely pissed off. Maternity leave starts next week and its going to be horrid - had visions of sitting in the garden reading and drinking cool drinks while the sun shone down and a gentle breeze kept me cool

This is the worst Summer I can recall.

It's just gone pitch black here and the rain has started again.
