Baby hedgehogs look cute but hedgehogs are flee ridden.
Don't go near it whatever you do (and don't feed it bread and milk, its stomach will puff up and you'll kill it)

I would ignore Kitty's wet blanketness and just treasure the memory. I wish I'd seen it!

snuffle snuffle said the hedgehog, twittwoo said the owl, and rowoar said the velociraptor. Cherish the memories of these bedtimes. I will.

We saw a mahoosive eagle today, sitting on the neighbours fence post. T'was magnificent.

Dappylittlemomma · 02/07/2012 04:50

That would make my day also.
Kittyfane- hedgehogs fleas are specific to hedgehogs and will not transfer to humans or any other animals, so don't be scared of them! Grown up hedgehogs are cute as well.
I've just got myself into a conversation with my 3 yr old explaining why the mummy hedgehog would rather its baby was born without spikes- too many difficult questions followed.

devonshiredumpling · 03/07/2012 00:05

so glad our little one have no spikes too Grin

I wish we had hedgehogs where we live now (city).

We had hedgehogs when I was growing up - some of them would get into the house and we'd find them in the hall in the morning. I remember carrying one out into the garden. It was surprisingly soft.

I'm glad you had a lovely day.
