Bleurgh. I hate horrors or pscho thrillers and this bored me stupid.

SoleSource · 30/06/2012 21:01

I am surprised it is a film made up of mostly British actors/actresses.

Oh it was so predictable!

anychocswilldo · 30/06/2012 21:02

It's very scary but IMO not as scary as the original film. Couldn't sleep for a week after seeing original. Wouldn't watch either on my own, good luck..... Grin

SoleSource · 30/06/2012 21:04

Oooooh I bet the original was good. I had no idea this was a re-make. Damn, blast!

Verdict - made me jump once and the ending was a bit scary. I have not seen a decent scary film for years and this was certainly not one of them.

Tripe.

Scared the crap out of me. Good luck

I found it sad to be honest. Those of you that have seen it will know why I say that.

JeezyPeeps · 01/07/2012 08:37

I though this was the first film version of the Susan Hill book? There's a stage version, which is fantastic, and I believe it has been done for television before.

I could be wrong though.

JeezyPeeps · 01/07/2012 08:39

Just googled, and the tv version was a film for television. Ignore me!

SoleSource · 01/07/2012 09:59

toofattorun yes is a :( story. One good turn deserves another...
