I'm ebf, Baby Cakes is 5mo and i've kirsty started getting what feel like period pains. I thought I'd have longer without them.

What's really bothering me though is that i'm feeling panicky and unhappy because they remind me of contractions. I had a bit of a rough time in labour (got my afterthoughts session tomorrow) and this is putting me right back in the middle of it.

Please tell me i'm being U and why. I need a stern talking to.

I thought my periods would start once I finish BFing, but a couple of weeks ago I had a mini period, eventhough I am still BFing.

My periods restarted 3 months postpartum with DD1, she was EBF, with frequent night feed; the same with Ds, so IMO it depends on you, and the idea that BF stops periods is not true in my case

my periods returned at 3 1/2 months despite EBF seemingly hour of the day/night. Gutted! Sorry you're having a rough time.
