to force DS into doing crafts instead of WII lego

DS (4) said he wanted to play Wii Lego Star Wars. I said I really wanted to make the cardboard robots on the front of his Art magazine. He said I could make the robots while he plays Wii. Now he's playing Wii while I'm on mumsnet. I might give him another 30 minutes then go and MAKE him play robots with me if his brain hasn't rotted away to mush.

I quite like the Lego games on the wii - there's quite a lot of problem solving and thinking involved, but no, altogether YANBU.

Another time could you try making and playing with robots before tea then a bit of wii after tea (or the other way round). You could play it too ;)
