To actually turn up at some point in the hour and a half slot she allocated me?

I need to leave for the midwife soon & it will take me 40 minutes to get there, leaving no time for her to lecture me on sure start centres and breast feeding!

I'm not even sure what she will cover that my midwife didn't at her home visit last week!

Plus I'm wanting my lunch & won't be happy if she appears while I'm trying to remove the food I've dropped from my bra :o

mine rarely showed up on time but then again i made it clear that this wasnt an issue for me and if it would be due to plans ect then i would ring in the morning to inform her.

but yanbu

My first contact with MW she rang insisted I cancel the MW appointment, which upset the MW, then turned up 3 hour early a trick she repeated once I had my first which I was annoying as it was first time I got DC to sleep in cot and she insistent I wake her.

Thought that was bad then move area and here HV just turned up announced on my doorstep with no warning and got narked if I wasn't around or was busy or trying to get out of house for a set time.

YANBU - but IME it a bit optimistic.

She showed, eventually gave me loads of leaflets and went on and on about bf, which had she asked, I would have explained that it was my preference to do so! & then was shocked when I reminded her of my midwife apt!
