To not be sure about this job

OK, so job is in a sector I like but the actual job isn't really what I want to do. 3 hours a day but the start time means that even if the school breakfast club had spaces 5 days a week they wouldn't open in time for me to be able to use it. Using a CM for the required time I would pay 50% of my (small!) salary. Is this worth getting my 5 year old DS (who loves his sleep) out of the house at eeek hour? We are not on benefits or the breadline.

Depends. Doesn't sound worth it for its own sake, but if it's a toe-hold in an organisation you want to work for, or if it helps you get more recent experience on your CV, it might be worth it. See it in the context of your overall career strategy rather than just for itself.

If it's not the job you actually want to do......why do it?? Is it going to help you get into the job you eventually do?? If so then yes, it may be worth while giving it a go and seeing how you get on but if its not actually going to help your career and its a massive headache with no benefits then dont bother.
