To have eaten teachers present...

Well

I've had a bit of wine (yes on Monday but none at weekend) and I had to cut out 50 strips of material 2.5 by 7 for rag rug making. I neglected to do this at weekend so they put another letter in the book at today!

So I thought what the hell, I'm gonna eat them chocolates (thorntons) as I've got the main daily teachers (3) a sanctury gift each, the rest of the key stage staff will have to make do with a card.

Basically rebelled today. No housework, crashed diet and eaten a present.

All the present giving is ridiculous anyway. I'd get in the bath and use the sanctuary stuff too! Grin

Hmm maybe I could scrub an arm away in time for Wednesday weigh in, oh it's so good to be bad

I must be tired!

I read this as "AIBU to eat the teachers that are here", rather than "AIBU to eat the teacher's gift".

I wondered how and why you'd want to eat the teachers?!

Will I ever get my a decent night's sleep my brain back?!!

redwhiteandblueeyedsusan · 25/06/2012 22:47

why did you have to cuyt out the material. would dc not get to do rag rug making otherwise?

SoleSource · 25/06/2012 22:50

I eat Easter eggs meant for school. Three times over, one year Grin

Soak your cares away.

amistillsexy · 25/06/2012 22:50

I think the teachers are being VVVU to expect parents to do their lesson prep for them!

Sod that for a game of soldiers!

SoleSource · 25/06/2012 22:56

I would have got the rag cut at a shop or market stall. Dunelm Mill.

Originalplurker · 25/06/2012 23:00

Yes, it's part of learning about Victorian houses.

I felt so bad I had forgot, all the mums at gates said oh it's ok I sent extra (grrrr) so I set to work with an old pillow case after bedtimes.

When I went to put them in book bag there a was another letter by way of reminder I thought cheeky sods, so by the time I've had the wine too I thought I'll have the thorntons too.

DH thought it was a bit much and commented, 'if you die I'll have to do that sort of thing won't I' Shock

I thought you were eating the teachers as well!

In fact i wondered why you were eating teachers present, and therefore ignoring teachers past and future.

Originalplurker · 25/06/2012 23:04

Oh yeah the absentee ones are still v wholesome

Wolfiefan · 25/06/2012 23:11

Never mind. Cutting rag burns literally millions of calories! Failing that, get a drastic hair cut and lose weight that way! Wink

Originalplurker · 25/06/2012 23:20

Thanks wolfie

Calories v theft of intended present oh I am so bad.

I hope the rag rug comes home actually I do.....

Wonder what they'd do if in sent a rag rug in from ikea, what would they say.......

Well I hid the box under bed as didn't want DH to see or have to share it with him now I've just finished the rest of the box, I couldn't believe how many I ate lastnight.

I blames it on the 50 strips of material.

[fat pig emoticon]
[lazy arse] still to start my housework, it's shameful.
