He just looked at me, with an incredibly sad look on his face. It hadn't even occurred to me that it might be difficult/impossible.

I did this when mine had wobbly teeth (ouch)! He thought I was being deliberately cruel rather than just a bit absent.

I am a smug good organised parent who always stripped the corn off the cob we wobbly teeth were involved.

DD2 (9) has three going at the moment, one molar, one premolar and one canine. Eating is a tough gig.
