Just bought a cute chambray dress, two long sleeve tops and a scarf for me, shorts and a blouse for dd1 and shoes for dd2, the total, including delivery, was £24.95. Amazing!

Just wait for it to be delivered - chances are you won't get all of it and certainly not in one go.

chaosisawayoflife · 23/06/2012 20:35

Sssshhhhhh! Let me bask in the glory of my shop for a little while!

I've never had a problem with H+M and have ordered loads. I love it too OP Smile

SoleSource · 23/06/2012 21:31

I love it too :) But not been able to order anything ever even the cheapest items. I shall one day. Let us know how you get on.

ceebeegeebies · 23/06/2012 21:34

Agree with MrsTrellis - plus you might find the quality not quite what you expected - certainly with the clothes for you.

However, I do admit the clothes for the DC are amazing - great quality, withstand multiple washing without fading etc.

My DD2 ordered a top online and paid. got a message saying your payment was received and top was dispatched. Several weeks later got a letter on the "late payment" on her account. DD told them she didn't have an account. H&M claimed the card payment was subsequently declined so THEY opened an account in her name and now she was late with the payment! DD has signed nothing, nothing at all to open an account and offered to make another payment to replace the first one but they said no, too late. This has rumbled on for months and has only just come to my notice as she produced a letter threatening to take her to court and she burst into tears. I am APPALLED at H&M and their fraudulent and threatening behaviour and will be taking legal action against them. Will be boycotting them from now on

YABU. Shit quality, shit service.

TartyMcFarty · 23/06/2012 22:20

That's the adult stuff though. Only kids stuff I've tried is anything I've been given.

RightUpMyRue · 24/06/2012 18:23

Wow, everyone really pissed on your parade there, didn't they OP? Miserable cows.

Staceisace · 24/06/2012 18:24

Whoop! I do love H&M - bought a couple of pairs of leggings in there today. I always want to shop online but keep hearing horror stories about the delivery. We're moving in three weeks so I'm too scared to order things in case they don't arrive.

Dawndonna · 24/06/2012 18:30

I too love H&M. Delivery is bloody awful.

Staceisace · 24/06/2012 18:31

Oh and I agree that the quality can be a bit hit and miss so I'd only order something online if I'd already seen it in store (I'm in there quite often) and felt the fabric etc.

I love the kids' section - I buy clothes for my cousins from there quite often because one family of cousins has five kids in it so I can't afford to spend lots but want to get them all something nice.

yellowraincoat · 24/06/2012 18:32

The quality is fine in H&M. I shop there all the time.

Hope you enjoy your stuff OP

BambieO · 24/06/2012 18:33

Delivery is definitely cack but hurrah for the bargains!!!

Sookeh · 24/06/2012 18:33

Love H&M for little boy clothes, it's one of the only places that offer a decent selection. DD loves all the hello kitty stuff in there too.

juniper904 · 24/06/2012 18:36

I've had loads of problems with H&M. I had a phantom charge, which they kept invoicing me for, and adding £1.50 to my bill each time. They kept promising to clear my account, but nada.

I had a delivery from them and wanted to return the items. The bloke didn't turn up. I left it under a bin (secure!) for 3 days and still no show. I ended up taking it to the post office myself, but had to get them to email a packing slip. They then had the cheek to charge me another invoice as well as a late payment fee!

I shared some very strong words with them, had my account completely cleared (it had risen from £2.50 to about £40 because of all of their fees!) and then completely closed it.

I like the shop, but bloody hell their customer service is shocking.

baboos · 24/06/2012 18:42

YANBU - I must be bloody lucky then... I order kids stuff all the time and have never had a problem with delivery or returns.

justtryingtodomybest · 24/06/2012 18:44

I've ordered from them quite a few times and have also had no problems with quality or delivery. Stuff has always turned up within a few days as advised by email. And quality has always been what I would expect for the price of the items.
