You are always unreasonable especially if you are pregnant.

YABVU

WorraLiberty · 23/06/2012 15:16

Huh?

So what about the 'Please come and stroke my ego' threads where someone says something like....

"I found an old lady clutching her heart in the street. Was I being unreasonable to administer first aid, call an ambulance, visit her with flowers and generally be an all round wonderful person?" Grin

HecateAdonaea · 23/06/2012 15:17

oh yes. You are almost always unreasonable when pregnant Grin

But if anyone thinks I'm risking my life by telling a pregnant woman that she is indeed being unreasonable to take an axe to the tv because they've cancelled midsomer murders, then you're off your rocker Grin

whooshwhoosh · 23/06/2012 15:17

They are probably lying and nicked her handbag. And are pregnant.

Grin worra

HecateAdonaea · 23/06/2012 15:19

oh, that was a for instance, btw Grin not an actual thread.

oh yes, worra, I love the 'aibu to be upset that poor kitty is hurt'

The evil cow in me is always tempted to say yes. for a second. Blush

But then I remember that they aren't actually asking if they are being unreasonable, but are seeking to start a conversation in the one place here you can actually find people any more Grin

WorraLiberty · 23/06/2012 15:20

You know most of the time it winds me up when people start an OP with "I'm pregnant so please be gentle with me" Or "DH won't make me a cup of tea. I'm 30 weeks pregnant by the way".

What the fuckety fuck does that have to do with the price of goats?

MsVestibule · 23/06/2012 15:20

YABU. If I've started an AIBU, I was right. And everybody else was wrong. Doesn't matter his many "yes, YABUs" I got. They were wrong and I was right. Got it? Wink

WorraLiberty · 23/06/2012 15:21

The evil cow in me is always tempted to say yes. for a second

Me too Blush

whooshwhoosh · 23/06/2012 15:22

MsVestibule when is it due?

OP posts:
MsVestibule · 23/06/2012 15:26

Worra, don't bloody well bring goats into this discussion. Otherwise I'll have to throw in a flat screen telly and maybe raise you a benefit cheat. Not at all sure I've got my poker analogy right there.

MsVestibule · 23/06/2012 15:29

Have you got a secret camera in my lounge, whoosh? I mean, I know I'm not pulling my tummy in, but there's no need to make personal comments.

WorraLiberty · 23/06/2012 15:33

MrsV, but my goat is pregnant.

Therefore YABVVU Grin

MsVestibule · 23/06/2012 15:40

Fair enough, Worra, I'll give you that. I'm hormonal but not pregnant, not sure if that counts. That may also account for the bloating that whoosh so rudely pointed out Hmm.
