emergency fridge temperature help!!!!

Is 1 colder than 6?

Its an emergency because my beer isn't cold enough.

In degrees, yes. On the control dial of an older fridge, probably no.

6 is coldest on mine but I wouldn't put it up that far or it'll freeze.

Fridge is aged.

So 6 on the dial would be colder than 1?

Yes 6 will be coldest. I have frozen carrots in my salad drawer when on the coldest setting.
