Yup.

LaurieFairyCake · 19/06/2012 21:39

He is being unreasonable, no one gets to decide what you do of an evening apart from you.

But it's over now so you might get some sex right? Wink

doggiemumma · 19/06/2012 21:39

valiumredhead · 20/06/2012 12:05

Tell him to turn off football and you'll turn off MN Wink

HecateAdonaea · 20/06/2012 13:05

What does he want you to do instead while he's watching the football?

badtasteflump · 20/06/2012 13:38

Why does he care? Confused

ledkr · 20/06/2012 13:40

I went to bed to mn and watch tv in peace while he watched said footy. A few mins later he came to bed and actually tried to turn tv to football!!! How rude. Apparently I was mning and so not watching tv. Tsk.

badtasteflump · 20/06/2012 13:44

Dh is a little bit like this - he will watch football on his own, but he likes having someone to 'ooh' and 'yes' 'nooooooooooo!' with. He doesn't seem to notice that I'm not actually watching the screen though and that I'm most likely asleep.

Sleepydog · 20/06/2012 13:45

Bugger - we've already had 'Leave the Bastard'

ok - have you tried counselling ?

oooohhhhyes · 20/06/2012 13:47

appalling behaviour Wink - change the radio settings in his car in revenge - always pisses my DP off (boring ranty LBC turns into Magic etc)

5madthings · 20/06/2012 13:51

oh yes we get this sometimes, dp will be watching sport, or motorbikes on be on the xbox and so i come through to the other room where the pc is to mnet, be online etc and he then gets huffy that we arent spending our evening together, errr no as i dont want to sit in silence and watch bikes go round and round or you shooting various things on the xbox, funny that!

PedanticPanda · 20/06/2012 13:52

Tell him he's right, you two should be spending quality time together, then turn the football off, put a soppy romantic film on instead and curl up next to him with some tissues...

See how long it takes him to say you can just stick to mumsnetting.
