To love Little Tikes stuff?

The DC have quite a lot of garden toys. Amongst them, they have a little tikes playhouse, cosy coupe car and the turtle sandpit.

I really rate the Little Tikes stuff, even though on here I see people complaining about 'plastic tat' filling up the garden, and how you should have tasteful wooden playhouses and garden toys.

I think little tikes stuff is really well made and durable. I like the bright colours and the fact that they don't really fade. Also, DH and I are too lazy to look after the garden furniture we have let alone maintaining wooden stuff for the kids too.

AIBU to love their brightly coloured, hard-wearing toys? Should I try harder to embrace tasteful toys?

I have a slide, house and a car. When I was small I thought a little tyke car was given to every child!

Add in dh's log pile and a trampoline there isn't much garden left to be honest but I don't care.

One day we will have am immaculately tidy Garden and I'll probably be sad because there's no kids playing.

You can get really good prices for it on eBay when you sell it on!

Screwing together their sand/water table and picnic table almost finished me off, so difficult.

I'm a fan too. DS has a lovely Magic Doorbell cottage which I bought second hand on Ebay, and I wouldn't be surprised to be able to sell it on again when he's done.

Little Tikes are really good at supplying spare bits IME to replace lost or broken consumables.

Love them too. Well made, cheerful and keep my kids happy. They certainly get my vote!
