I was parking my car today after a bloody long boring day at work. The road i live in is very hit and miss for parking sometimes i
Outside my house other times a mile up
The road, this depends largely on the way others park, some admittedly do park like tossers.
I try not to park that way. Anyway i get out of my car, notice ive left quite a big gap in front and get back in to move it forward, at which point a neighbour (in the sense of same road not next door) says " you should move up" well im already doing that... That annoys me some what as ive been known to of seen people striggling to get in behind me and go out to move my car forward for them, simply as the paling issue annoys me so much.

Anyway I Get out again, get toddler DS out, she says "oh you decided to move forward" "yes" i say (reasonably politely) she then says "when is your baby due?" i reply "january" and she says.... "bloody hell" in a fatty fatty boom
Boom type of way...

I am porky, and do carry any excess on my tum, but in my defence it is the end of the day, i am bloated, knackered, and quite frankly i think she was bloody rude!! AIBU to think that was rude and quite hurtful? I only know her to say hello to!

And to top it off ive lost 6lb, so fuck knows what an ompa loompa i looked before. Soietal weight obsession really fucks me off, i am in general happy with my size apart from when rude twunts people comment so negatively!!

I sympathise. I have looked about 7 months pregnant with twins since I was 4 months!

The way I see it, you might have a big tum (with a good excuse) but at least you don't have a shitty personality like her Grin

cheekybarsteward · 19/06/2012 17:42

Some people have no social awareness. If you can remember to reply "non taken", they might just realise what a twat they are.

WorraLiberty · 19/06/2012 17:45

She was rude about the parking but I'd let the "Bloody hell" thing go because she might have assumed it was 'all baby' IYSWIM...therefore she was probably remarking on the size of the baby and not you being overweight.

Thanks for your replies. I am a Bigger person, and i was dieting ad im also getting married, so an continuing to
Eat reasonably healthy although at the moment its what i fancy due to feeling sick but i just thought how bloody rude. I was too Blush and Angry to reply.. People are arses!

I think you're projecting a bit though.

You're going to get comments on how big your baby bump is all through your pregnancy, so you'll need to separate those comments from how you feel about your weight...otherwise you'll drive yourself mad!

BBisTitanium · 19/06/2012 17:50

Sorry worra xpost, i suppose she might but tbh im only 11 weeks so doubt it... Although i doubt she did the maths.

She is no oil painting herself yes name calling makes me feel better!

You could be right, i showed early with DS too so thought i was reasonably confident with myself, particularly as im lighter than i was with DS.

I dont think it was the comment so Much as it feeling inappropriate as i dont know her, and the deliverance was so.. Critical!

Ho hum as you say it is probably more my issue than hers shes still an ugly old trout though

How did she know you were pregnant if you're only 11 weeks or was it a lucky guess? She sounds like she was either bored or lacks some social graces!

WorraLiberty · 19/06/2012 17:56

PMSL @ ugly old trout Grin

BBisTitanium · 19/06/2012 17:59

hehe she is very trouty!

She knew as she saw us coming in the other day carrying notes, ds holding scan photo. She asked ds about the picture, who obviously said my baby blah blah as they do,which in itself is a bit irritating Im not shy about it or superstitious or anything but probably wouldn't have told her. due to nosey trouty nature

Remember: you can lose weight. She'll always be a rude cow.
