To serve some rather random leftovers for supper?

DH and I are having leftovers for supper tonight.

Have had a look in the fridge - one very very small portion of pasta with tomato and roasted courgette and peppers sauce, not enough for an adult.
One larger portion of thai fish curry with rice, more than enough for one person, but not enough for two.

AIBU to heat up both and serve up both to each person?. Otherwise one person will have a huge meal and the other a teeny one. Or do they really, really not go together?

Can you serve the pasta as a starter and the curry as a main course?

Go for it. Sounds entertaining!

I think they go together fine. :) I sometimes do this, serve two leftover dinners together. The other night though, my DH served salmon pasta bake and quiche and they definitely did not go!

Share the pasta as a starter then share the curry - I wouldn't want to eat them together!

Oh my God, a meal at my DM's house will often be entirely composed of randoms like this, roast chicken with all the trimmings plus some quiche heated up fr the day before, with a bit of curry sauce from lunch, and the inevitable well cooked home grown but seldom complementary veg from the garden/freezer.

My DP is very wary about meals at the inlaws, never can tell what's coming next.

Sounds good to me, call it Tapas.

I call it fusion food
