in which the only content is an external media link? I don't want to read the Daily Mail visit another webite to know what posters are talking about.

Why can't people add a quick summary alongside the link?

Really?

I'm just so impressed when they work..and wish I could do it.
Lots of people do include a summary though.

It annoys me as I am often on a phone

WorraLiberty · 14/06/2012 23:31

View the most basic way is to check the box underneath the message box that says 'Convert links automatically'.

YANBU OP

I worry about clicking random links since I've fucked up my computer like that in the past.

Jinsei · 14/06/2012 23:32

Maybe I'm just jealous of the fact that they know how to do it. :)

I don't mind the links at all when there is a summary. Just dislike it when you have to follow a link to find out what the OP is on about.

I find it annoying when people start threads that leave the thread title hanging.

Jinsei · 14/06/2012 23:34

McHappy, I'm usually on my phone too.
