my daughter attends a church club and goes once a week. when she joined i asked for her pictures not to be taken and they said that they had never thought of that I have feeling that they have not got a concent form in place & also the staff are not crb checked. how do I take this further as this is how it happens peodos working with kids. i have a gut feeling that I should take this further.

Take what further? Have you any evidence to back up what come across as somewhat paranoid concerns about peadophiles. Also if you dislike the way this club is run, I'd have thought you'd want to take your child out of it. Presumably attendance isn't compulsory?

Well, yes, you should take it further.Or not send her any more. No church group worth it's salt has non -CRB checked adults working with children. And not having policies in place screams of incompetence. Just look at today's new, though and realise that even CRB checked adults can be abusers. And of course non CRB checked adults may be perfectly lovely.

I'm curious as to what kind of church would think they can get away with this.

The clubs in church group are normally ran by the parents themselves not a specific qualified chilcare provider

But be they parents, or otherwise, they can't just run a children's group with no CRB, can they? Even tutors who help my DC while I'm present have shown me their CRB.

And most MNetter's wouldn't let their child in a mile of a priest, CRB or not. (And as far as I know all priests are CRB checked and not supposed to be alone with a child).

Because you don't use a capitol letter at the beginning of a sentence, use commas, and in your more recent posts have failed to use speech marks. All of which I expect top level reception children to use in their witting. It makes reading a sentence easier, and is therefore good manners.
