AIBU to think that things marketed as exclusive, VIP, luxury

are normally anything but exclusive, VIP, luxury.

I saw an independent supermarket today, you know the grubby type on a main street with plastic lettering on the outside, selling dusty items that have been on the shelves for years. It was called 'Exclusive supermarket'.

TBH I was surprised when they let me in, especially as they clearly state they exclude some sorts! Grin

If anything has to have 'Exclusive, VIP or luxury' loudly exclaimed on its advertising, I usually assume it is horrifically chavvy and avoid it. Grin
