I have had my sky+ box for over 4 years now, I have been experienced glitches with recorded programmes for a while but now it has started to wind me up so After an hour on the phone they tell me to go to system setup press 0 then 1 then select to bring up a secret in which there is a planner rebuild option that defrags the box

You should have asked on here. I could have told it you for free. I work for an affiliated company. :)

stressheaderic · 12/06/2012 21:18

I just typed into Google 'glitches recording sky+ box' and it took me straight to several forums explaining how to get to the secret menu. I reset it and it's fine now.

igggi · 12/06/2012 21:28

Does that delete what is on your box?

McHappyPants2012 · 12/06/2012 21:51

No but I deleted alot before I started

Be warned you lose everything recorded on your box - they forgot to tell me that!! DS wasn't impressed all his films had gone Sad

StellaAndFries · 12/06/2012 22:16

I did one yesterday and it didn't lose any of my recordings.

t0lk13n · 12/06/2012 22:17

I did it on the weekend and lost nothing. You can find all the information on how to do it on line.

McHappyPants2012 · 12/06/2012 22:20

Fatmummy did you do a full system reset or a Planner rebuild
