Because they announced a hosepipe ban. Happens every time.

YouveCatToBeKittenMe · 11/06/2012 19:43

I have put my heating on too

DH won't be pleased! but he won't be home till 11pm and it will have gone off by then so who cares

sixlostmonkeys · 11/06/2012 19:44

Why is it raining? Because, it's summer in Britain. :(

YouveCatToBeKittenMe · 11/06/2012 19:44

perhaps they should announce a ban on sunbathing

that should sort it!

WinkyWinkola · 11/06/2012 19:45

The weather never bothered me before dcs but now I really resent the rain. It spoils all days out.

There should be a Mother Nature Weather Rule whereby it only rains at night. And sparkles with sunshine and bright blue skies every summer morn. As if.

thebody · 11/06/2012 19:49

It's so bloody cold, and miserable like me. Why us? Dss at euroes and keep textin how bloody hot it is!!!!!

Me and dds got out all summer stuff in the heat wave and now need to dug out boots again!! In JUNE.

Those poor buggers who been flooded.

Look on the bright side: they'll withdraw the hosepipe ban by the time all your plants have floated away.

rainydaysarebad · 11/06/2012 19:49

No no no, I'll tell you WHY it's raining: It's because EVERYONE started getting pissy about how hot it got a few weeks ago. Why did everyone complain about the sunshine and hotness? I BLAME ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO COMPLAINED A FEW WEEKS BACK AT THE NICE HOT WEATHER...THANKS A BUNCH.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 11/06/2012 19:50

It's because a lot of people lied when they were seventeen...

stargirl1701 · 11/06/2012 19:51

The jet stream is south of UK. It is normally much further north at this time of year.

MsKittyFane · 11/06/2012 19:52

Heating on here too! DH keeps opening windows too! it's freezing!!

thebody · 11/06/2012 19:53

I hate people who said it was too hot in the heat wave it was gorgeous!!!

It was too hot for me. And now it's too cold for you. Let's let go of all this hate and agree to differ, aye?

orangeandlemons · 11/06/2012 19:57

Jet stream is always too far south these days. It's there every year it seems....

I had on jumper, cardi, heating and thermal vest. Still not overly hot.

thebody · 11/06/2012 20:06

You know what is pissing me off?! I bought a really cute Mickey Mouse T shirt and shorts set last summer when I was pregnant. I've been looking forward to putting my son in those clothes showing his chubby feet and legs since BEFORE he was born! He's only worn those clothes 2 days. That is really shit. They're size 3-6 months and he'll outgrow them soon. What a waste.

It's sunny here Grin Who'd've thought Northumberland would be the best place weather-wise?

JumpingThroughHoops · 11/06/2012 20:27

Don't whine. last week was a scorcher, Easter was a scorcher.

orangeandlemons · 11/06/2012 20:28

Have just looked at a long range weather forecast.

August will be an umbrella month apparently

Anniegetyourgun · 11/06/2012 21:21

Not pg, thebody, but menopausal. Not that I was ever a hot weather person and now I'm so fat it's worse
