to think that DH is, somehow, pooing wrong

Ok I know it isn't the most dignified topic, and Yes it's trivial, but it has been bugging me.

When DH does a number 2, he ALWAYS leaves skidmarks, and then uses loads of bleach to "deal" with them.

I hardly ever leave any.

Same toilet, we eat the same food, I can't work out why the outcome is so different.

That's it really, but I was wondering whether anyone had a similar experience?

Do you eat every thing exactly the same? Even lunches at work? Snacks?

GwennieF · 10/06/2012 20:57

Maybe he just sits further back on the seat..?

ComposHat · 10/06/2012 20:58

He is doing big hoop troubling manly poos and you are only doing teeny tiny discrete lady logs.

That is why.

Hassled · 10/06/2012 20:58

I think it's to do with positioning and speed of expulsion, or summat.

FairToMiddlin · 10/06/2012 20:58

It's the arse to toilet seat ratio.

peachypips · 10/06/2012 20:58

We have the same problem. Different people poo differently regardless of eating the same thing! Some people poo less frequently and therefore have bigger poos... Men have bigger poos too I think. My husband blocks the toilet every time he goes. Our solution? He 'chops it up' and flushes after each segment!! PMSL!!!!

Greeata · 10/06/2012 20:59

Is he sitting farther back on the seat? Either that or he has a secret banana habit.

PuppyMonkey · 10/06/2012 20:59

He'd be better off using a toilet brush for the skid marks.

metalelephant · 10/06/2012 21:00

What about drinks? Alcohol, tea, coffee and juice can all have a big impact on poo.

Poo is such a funny word isn't it?

Grin
metalelephant · 10/06/2012 21:00

Feeling very immature...

FairToMiddlin · 10/06/2012 21:00

At least your DH deals with them.

AnyoneForTennis · 10/06/2012 21:02

Are you in a new build house? I swear the modern 'bowls' are smaller as we now have this problem since moving!

Thankgodforcaffeine · 10/06/2012 21:02

Mmmh. I hadn't considered the impact the seating position could have.

Do men really do bigger poos though? Hmm

OP posts:
squeakytoy · 10/06/2012 21:03

he has heavier poo... and his arse is closer to the pan...

scarletforya · 10/06/2012 21:04

Why do some people make skiddies though? Is it their diet?

thenightsky · 10/06/2012 21:04

According to Gillian McKeith back in the days when she had a telly programme, it was to do with greasiness of said poo. Folk eating Maccy-D and all that left skid marks.

squeakytoy · 10/06/2012 21:04

Do men really do bigger poos though?

sadly, it is one of lifes male competetive boasts.... Confused

I am ashamed to say, I know people who have sent each other photos of their "best turnouts".... Hmm

CanISawItOff · 10/06/2012 21:04

I echo what FairToMiddlin said.

Trills · 10/06/2012 21:05

YABU to think he is doing it wrong without first considering the other ways in which you differ.

He is probably larger than you, so his poos will be larger, and his position on the toilet will be different.

Thankgodforcaffeine · 10/06/2012 21:05

puppy that's right, run! Don't you know toilet brushes are revolting?

metal :o :o

OP posts:
Trills · 10/06/2012 21:06

You possibly eat slightly different stuff too

FairToMiddlin · 10/06/2012 21:07

German / dutch toilets can have an inspection shelf Confused

Thankgodforcaffeine · 10/06/2012 21:07
