so many people seem to hate them. They are lovely and make great pets, treated properly.

Yanbu! I love cats too!

Have you perused icanhascheezeburger? I'm totally addicted!

AgentZigzag · 09/06/2012 21:58

YANBU to start a bunfight on a saturday night

I prefer their haughty loftiness to dogs neediness, but dogs have their attractions too.

I especially like the way they only poo in other peoples gardens Wink

QueenieBea · 09/06/2012 22:00

I LOVE my cats. They are a constant source of entertainment and affection and dead bodies Grin

cantspel · 09/06/2012 22:01

my cat poos in her tray, is old and deaf and has a limp so only goes out to sit on the patio if the sun is shining.

I love my cat.

Babylon1 · 09/06/2012 22:02

Yes I really fucking hate am enamoured with next doors cats (both sides) shatting in MY garden!!!

I love digging over the vegetable plot and finding little presents! Also nice when mowing the lawn/strimming and get a face full of it Sad

I do actually like cats - good job as mother owns a cattery - just not cat pooh!!! Grin

Sunnywithachanceofshowers · 09/06/2012 22:06

YANBU

MissMogwi · 09/06/2012 22:09

YANBU. Cats are brill. They are experts at being aloof and gracious if their staff do well.

I do like dogs as well though, but not big, barky ones that jump up or sniff your crotch.

AlexReidsLonelyBraincell · 09/06/2012 22:09

Yanbu! My old mog is purring away on my lap as I type. He is so very old and haslots of health problems and is not long for this world I fear.
I do love him so much.

Sparklingbrook · 09/06/2012 22:12

I love Sparkling Cat and DH says he loves Sparkling Cat because she makes me so happy. Grin Pics on profile.

CrispyCod · 09/06/2012 22:13

Ah bless Alex but at least he knows he's loved and looked after properly.

Sparklingbrook · 09/06/2012 22:15

I am always very Envy when cats turn up in peoples gardens. I have never had one.

MadamFolly · 09/06/2012 22:16

I wuv my kitty, she is my baby.

It gives me great pleasure to make sure she is happy and has the easiest life ever, makes my stresses seem more mangable somehow if I can see her lazing about, getting treats and petted.

catsmother · 09/06/2012 22:17

No you're not, being unreasonable thats is .... cats are fab!

My daughter's 1st word was "cat" .... really. Only a cat lover would feel proud about that and not a bit miffed it wasn't "ma-ma".

Annunziata · 09/06/2012 22:18

I so want a cat, but DH won't let me :( something about his mother's cat scratching him...

SuperTressy · 09/06/2012 22:31

YANBU. I love cats and dogs equally ~ would love another cat (ours died last year aged 20), but we now have a new puppy and dp won't let us have both :(

FunnysInLaJardin · 09/06/2012 22:37

sparkling your cat is lovely. My cat is called Mini, she had a brother Max who ran away to join the farm I think. He was a HUGE ginger tom, neutered and chipped, nonetheless. Mini is fab, a tabby/tortoiseshell and so gentle. She's about 5 and can be found napping under my bed/catching mice in the fields/sitting on my lap. The whole family love her. Minikins we call her Grin

Its a bit unfair for me to say I don't like dogs. I love some dogs provided they are well trained, the same goes for cats

OP posts:
serin · 09/06/2012 22:40

I don't like ours anymore after seeing her walking around with a bloody inch long worm sticking out of her arse today. She was only Frontlined last month as well.

MedusaIsHavingABadHairDay · 09/06/2012 23:01

I generally prefer cats to people Grin

I love mine only slightly less than my children, and at the moment (4 teens) the cats are definitely easier to live with!!

5Fingered · 09/06/2012 23:02

YABU they are evil, pointless, murderous little bastards. Wild animals. They are loyal to no one.

whathasthecatdonenow · 09/06/2012 23:04

I love cats, perhaps my username is a bit of a giveaway? I have 2, one of which is diabetic, so that means I have to be up and in a fit state to give insulin injections at 7am each day.

serin you want Drontal for the worms, frontline for the fleas.

FunnysInLaJardin · 09/06/2012 23:05

cats are hugely loyal and loving. Mini and all her predecessors have all been excellent cats. People who don't like cats don't understand humanity IMO
