on wednesday i got an invite to a family ''event'' for saturday. i said no as we already had plans. background being that i asked about 6 weekd ago if there was a plan for this weekend, for this event and was told no. so i made other arrangements. now im in the bad books.
wibu to not cancel my plans to go to a last min other thing?

I think I recall a previous thread about your parents being unsupportive and generally unhelpful

Is it them again?

bloodyfamilies · 04/06/2012 17:49

yes. my sisters are now no longer speaking to me.
apparently i am now unhelpful and unfair.

Go out to what you have planned and have a great time. You know if you change your plans you'll feel resentful. They are going to be stroppy even if you go.

thats exaclty what i did. ( was weekend just gone)
i think im right. but they make me question myself.

Yanbu, you asked them in advance about there being an event-they said no so its their problem you cant make it.
Have a nice time at the other event & just ignore their petty behaviours
