to watch Horrible Histories

Dd is with her father today. He always seems to get the sunny days (typical)! But as I've been ill for a week with man flu (pray for me), its a quite a good job that she isn't here.

Anyway I'm sat here, feeling sorry for myself, all snotty and grim and I've watched about 5 episodes of Horrible Histories in a row.

If my dd was vexing out like this, I'd have switched off the TV by now and made her 'do something'.

So I ask you , am I being unreasonable for not practising what I preach ? lol

Horrible Histories is wasted on kids - ought to be on prime time telly instead of the usual shite...

Also, best stay sitting down resting and heed the advice in the "Stupid Deaths" theme tune...

I love horrible histories and my oldest is 3 so doesn't appreciate it yet! I would love a veg out day watching it. Enjoy!

You've had your time on being parented and should now be wise to all the best ways to live your life to the best of your abilities (isn't that what we're trying to do with our kids, lol) now you know it all you can now do what you like, and if that includes time to vex or even veg out, do it.

Even better if she can't see you doing what you do and not what you say.
