You do have to break it into fingers, and it is the law as with Bountys and Kit Kat Chunkys you must nibble at least 50% of the outer chocolate off.

The only edible Kitkats are the ones with the foil wrap. You have to slide your nail through the foil between the fingers to open it. Kitkats in new-fangled wrap are to be avoided.
