the neighbour looked at me this morning and didnt say anything, does he hate me?

the shop assistant asked if she could help with the bags, does she think i cant cope?

the taxi driver said "girls night out eh" and i started crying. insensitive bastard does he not know i have left my pfb for the first time.

be jaysus looks like your better off saying nothing to no one with a botox look for fear of upsetting someone.

lighten up ladies!!

(disclaimer: light hearted thread)

no, i think we (not me of course!) are a narky bunch Grin

WorraLiberty · 04/06/2012 11:25

That's nothing

My goldfish called me 'Bob' this morning when I peered through the glass in his bowl.

He hates me and wants a new owner doesn't he?

scuzy · 04/06/2012 11:26

am afraid so .. especially if he pooped then ate it. its a sure sign. i learnt about it in college.

i do prefer narky to sensitive alright ... but if anyone comes down on me you said it first fanjo!

I'd ask the other fish if I'm BU be he's been planking for the last 2 weeks.

EclecticShock · 04/06/2012 11:31

:)

Trills · 04/06/2012 11:35

YABU and would have nothing to read on here if people didn't post about their minor annoyances.

scuzy · 04/06/2012 11:37

true Trills but the trend of threads lately is about what a complete stranger said, a little comment. anyways its light hearted.

Trills · 04/06/2012 11:38

Complete strangers never make comments of any kind to me - AIBU to think I must have an unapproachable face?

fryingpantoface · 04/06/2012 11:38

YANBU

TheBestGoldfishEver · 04/06/2012 11:39

Well Bob, you shouldn't be surprised that I want a new 'owner'! Angry

Honestly, streaking past the fish tank (which could do with being bigger, to be honest!) naked at all times of day and night. Angry No fish should have to put up with that. :(

I bought you a new tank last month and you haven't even learnt to drive the fucking thing! Angry

TheBestGoldfishEver · 04/06/2012 11:43

Of course I can drive the bloody fish tank. Angry Who do you think knocked down the wall to the hallway?!

WorraLiberty · 04/06/2012 11:46

TheBestGoldfishEver · 04/06/2012 11:48

Ha! You may laugh, but I'm aiming for your computer next. Angry No more MumsNet! (Just as well I have FishNet to entertain myself.)

comedycentral · 04/06/2012 11:53

YABU Wink what on earth would we have to read without these posts! I love all the 'write a complaint' replies and 'leave the bastards'. Hee hee

HecateTrivia · 04/06/2012 13:21

yes, some people are. I think if you are getting really upset about trivial things and in particular brooding on them for days/weeks/months, then it's normally because something else is going on in your life that's upsetting/worrying you and things that otherwise wouldn't bother you at all, you interpret in a different way and get upset about.

lovebunny · 04/06/2012 13:49

its worth getting upset. my feelings are so precious to me.

OAM2009 · 04/06/2012 14:49

well, I posted on Aibu so that I could find out what "normal" people think about things, instead of trusting to my own bonkers mind, but.....

Grin Wink
