I hate, hate, hate night shifts. They make you sick and tired.

Wingedharpy · 03/06/2012 01:14

It depends if you're an owl or a lark.
Me, I'm an owl and therefore love working night shifts. On the other hand, early shifts make me feel positively ill - hate them.

Mmm don't think the old, demented folks would appreciate the sound of a vibrator going on the ward! I always feel sick early morning Sad still its my last one and I'm off all over bank holiday. Yay Grin nightshifts are the work of the devil

nightshifts are evil, I go through stages of hating them, but sometimes prefer them to early starts.

I have 5 hours to go, on 12 hours.

better than the 13 hours i was doing the last 2 nights, with 40 mins travelling each way.

whatsapussycatdoll · 03/06/2012 01:53

I am also off over the bank holiday, but loads of painting and cleaning to do, to get my flat on the market asap :(

Also have to get up after lunchtime 2morro, to have a show down with the inlaws. Grin

"old demented folks"?

I think nights are the least of your concerns, it is clearly affecting your brain more than you think.

Quit?

ToxicMoxie · 03/06/2012 02:13

Night shifts are terrible! I can't stay awake all night without hallucinating. Unless I'm slightly tipsy and having a smashing conversation on deep drunken issues of the day.

anychocswilldo · 03/06/2012 08:28
