I came home from work last night with a horrible vomiting bug and stomach cramps. I also have a high temperature and feel all weak and fainty. This morning, I couldn't keep my cup of tea down, but now the vomiting seems to have stopped (fingers crossed). Now, I have diarrhoea but feel slightly better......here comes the problem - DP has just come back into the living room and announced very excitedly "we're going out tomorrow and you're gonna love it!"

Where do you think we're off to?

Cadbury World...my stomach can't wait :-(

Have you not told him you don't want to go?

If he knows you've been sick why didn't he ask you if you felt up to it before sorting it?

I was going to say he's doing you a favour taking you when you won't be tempted, and maybe you're just posting it in a lighthearted way, but you make it sound like you have no choice.

I'm hoping that it's just his way of trying to make me feel better..."you'll be better by tomorrow"...just thinking about all that chocolate has made me feel bleugh...such a waste!

Don't you feel you can tell him it's making you sick just thinking about it?
