Day so far - tried to get a blood test. Nowadays you have to queue at a neighbouring doctor for the phlebotomist. Went in three times and each time the queue was at least 50 minutes. IMO that's not satisfactory and they should offer appointments. After the first aborted attempt went to pick up half a prescription and had to wait for 15 minutes because the pharmacist was late for work and it couldn't be dispensed. Then queued in the building society to be told they can't write a cheque to someone other than me any more unless I pay £10.00. They can write it to me though and I can queue in the bank and pay it in and then write a cheque from my current account. Then went to DS's school (very expensive) and witnessed some truly dreadful manners - so dreadful that I am almost speechless.
And I still haven't had a bloody, blood test. Grrrrrrrrr.
