There's a family of 10 living next door to us. They seem like nice people but I'm really not sure about them.

Like for example the other day. They all went off for a picnic in the forest. They didn't invite us, but fair enough, they're under no obligation, and there are a lot of us (I have a very big family too).

But then when they got there, they called us and invited us along. Great I thought and we went to join them.

But by the time we got there, they'd eaten all the food. Every last bit! Fair enough it had taken us a while to get there (and the bus was very bumpy, what a journey!) but to not even save a little bit of cake? They hate us, don't they?!

We just pretended we weren't bothered, but I was really.

They know all the neighbours too. We're out a lot on the other hand, I'm not sure if we're really part of this community.

Actually that's something else they did that was odd. I went and bought my DCs and all of us lovely matching outfits.

Then two days later the neighbour next door (I'll call her Mrs P) went and bought exactly the same outfits in a different colour for all her family.

Now that's a bit weird, don't you think?!

Don't worry, they have no room to be all judgy judgy those children of theirs run wild and are forever getting lost. Yours are perfectly well behaved in comparison.

The Pontipines are our next door neighbours. They pretend to be nice but no one seems to notice they are really mean to us!

We on the other hand are on the witness protection program not around a lot.

I suspect, OP, that your neighbours may have also copied your interior decorating as well. I suggest you pay one of the Haa Hoos to sit on them.
