To go to work wearing odd flip flops??

Of course I am arent I but I thought it would make you laugh on a humid evening.

Yep,i was on my way into a clients house at 10am when i felt a bit odd.I looked down just as she answered the door to see one black flip flop size 6 and another size 10 with a lime green trim

I of course had to point this out to said client who laughed but probably will demand another sane worker and then also walk around the local asda wearing them to buy another emergency pair.

I need a holiday dont I ?

I am a social worker its very sad. I also have 5 dc's one only a baby and I didnt notice amongst the chaos that is my morning. I rushed to the car then kicked off flops to drive bare footed and then put them on at clients home. I am a numpty.

I once did the same thing. Got to work only to discover I had one navy blue and one black shoe on. I was very vain/shallow/self conscious in those days so made a colleague drive me to the not very near M&S so I could buy a new matching pair. If it happened to me now I'd just laugh. Given your job and 5 dc I'm amazed you get out of the door in the morning at all.

My friend did it too,one black shoe with heel one flat black shoe,she was going for a scan too,so could hardly pop home.

That's ace! I work with social workers and trust me, weirder things have happened in our office!

, my dad did that a few years ago - he went to work wearing one smart office black shoe and one casual tan shoe. He worked in london so had to get a train and tube like it and didn't realise until my mum rang him to ask why odd shoes had been left we've joked about it ever since

yes it was dh's flip flop just has a lime green logo and stripe through the sole.

He didnt notice on account of being such a lazy twunt he hasnt stood up all day thus needed no footwear

I once went to the loo at work at about 4 pm and as I was pulling my tights up notice I had one brown calf height wedge boot and one brown knee high heeled boot on...
i'd been really busy and hadnt noticed. and no-one had said anything
