YANBU. I feel your pain.

Flisspaps · 28/05/2012 09:53

YANBU.

Lottapianos · 28/05/2012 09:54

Good for you mrsshears Grin I can't imagine how miserable this weather must be for someone who's massively pregnant so YANBU at all to have given him short sharp shrift. What was his reply?

ShatnersBassoon · 28/05/2012 09:55

Oh, at least he acknowledged you, and men tend to try to be funny when they don't know what to say. Don't be surprised if he never tries to start a conversation with you again.

YANBU for being grumpy though Smile

IAmBooybilee · 28/05/2012 09:55

so NU. what sort of an idiot asks that question to someone who is very clearly still pregnant?

VonHerrBurton · 28/05/2012 09:56

Errr, yes and no!

I guess he was just making what he thought to be a joke, albeit a bit clumsy.

However, he will never know what it's like to be hugely pregnant and horribly hot and tired, so I do understand.

pictish · 28/05/2012 09:57

Yanbu - imagine him making conversation and acknowledging you. What a cock!

mrsshears · 28/05/2012 10:04

lottapianos he laughed actually so i don't think he is offended, he certainly will be if he makes a habbit of it though Grin

YANBU.

One of my fellow cub leaders asked me if I'd had the baby yet. I was 38 weeks with what turned out to be 9lb DS, and the size of a small planet, and he was deadly serious. I just looked at him in disbelief. His reasoning was that it can take a while for the stomach to return to normal!

Kill the bastard. Blame hormones.

BumptiousandBustly · 28/05/2012 11:12

The day after giving birth, in the maternity unit. A woman who worked there asked when I was due!

Butkin · 28/05/2012 11:22

That is just man-speak for how much longer do you have to go?
