I wonder whether all the fat ugly stupid families are now tweeting about misanthropic 'actors' with limited acting range they saw gambolling on the heath, dreaming of the day they stop being offered the same Eastend nobbo wheeler dealer type TV roles and achieve a career they can finally be proud of, .....instead of decidedly bitter about.

Surely the best thing to do is not acknowledge the comment at all, ignore them completely? All you've done is repeat the comment here when many people - myself included - aren't on Twitter, wouldn't have seen it and been none the wiser...

He's absolutely correct, it's horrible to have a nice day in the countryside ruined by chavvy types. They drink and the leave their rubbish everywhere. Disgusting people.

Josephine, he didn't mention them leaving any rubbish or behaving in an anti social manner. His comments were simply stereotypes loaded with judgement. Especially the bit about them being 'fat, ugly and stupid' and the implied sneering at the 'at least 6 children'. None of those constitutes a crime/anti social behaviour as far as I'm aware.

Well people that have 6 children are irresponsbile IMO.

I've seen plenty of the so-called middle classes leaving their rubbish behind and expecting others to pick up after them.

I could do without aggressive looking dogs (even if they are softies) because DH and DD1 are really twitchy about them.
