It's so much better than grown up news! I watch it... I understand stuff! The Eurocrisis? Easy! No Robert Peston patronising tones, just young, fun presenters and simple to understand language. What's not to love?!

OP posts:

The lack of in depth analysis, the lack of holding ministers to account, the lack of complexity...and on and on.

Try Radio 4.

I agree with you, OP. I've spent years and years (now in my dotage) watching Ministers and Governments self-serve and not be brought to account........and I don't want to watch it any more stargirl.

Hasn't been the same since John Craven stopped doing it. Now it's just dumbed down rubbish.

I watch the Channel 4 news. I have a secret crush on Jon Snow.

Just needed to share that.

Newsround was too colourful last time I looked, made me squint.

I agree with JosephineCD. I tried watching it a while ago and there was no proper news on it - it was just about celebreties Hmm.
It was an excellent programme when John Craven started it, and for many, many years.
