Ha, that got you in,didn't it.

AIBU to start a thread to ask everyone who has ever been accused of being Mumsnet Royalty or one of the elite, or one of the populars, or insultingly been accused of being cliquey, quichey, prolific or all the many other insults, to sign in here.

I just want a list to refer to. Cos I reckon there are about a zillion of us, so I just want to prove that it isn't just a few of us who are up their own arses and think the site revolves around them

Whadayathink?

OP posts:
DialsMavis · 23/05/2012 18:15

I can't help thinking I should be royalty, my effortless wit and humour seem to get lost in Internet translation though as no-one knows whom I am Wink

gnocci · 23/05/2012 18:20

This again... Hmm

yawn.

shine0ncrazydiamond · 23/05/2012 18:24

Gnocci - I'd 'like' your post if I could.

this is the reason why a lot of posters don't bother anymore.

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 23/05/2012 18:24

I'm royally drunk most Friday Nights me too usual does that make me speshul too?
I made an actual friend on MN today, wah hey! now I have someone to to.

PinotysaurusRex · 23/05/2012 18:29

Eccles I'm going to follow you around Mumsnet talking about nude pants if that's alreeeeeeeeet?

:o

gnocci · 23/05/2012 18:32

Agree shine

It's just so tedious... and frankly, rather embarrassing.

I wonder if posters realise how... sad.... it makes them look!!! Confused

Life. Get. A.

jazzchickens · 23/05/2012 18:35

But surely all the Royalty are on diamond jubilee walkabouts? Grin

PinotysaurusRex · 23/05/2012 18:37

I think Maryz meant it the opposite way to shiney and gnocci are understanding it? Unless I'm misunderstanding their misunderstanding? Which is possible.

In essence, I think Maryz meant it ironically. Not at all seriously.

LadyBeagleEyes · 23/05/2012 18:38

But it's not the 'popular' posters or the most prolific bringing this up again and again
This is a thread about another thread where apparently if you dare to even acknowledge another mumsnetter and share a joke, you're accused of being elitist. (getting bored of the world Royalty).
Yes it is getting boring, but I'm also sure that people like Hully, Maryz, Pag etc. are getting sick of always having to defend themselves to newer posters.
They've been here for years FFS, what are they supposed to do?

PinotysaurusRex · 23/05/2012 18:40

Ahh yes, LadyBE said what I thought so much better than wot I did.

I just lumbered around the point.

Quite.

usualsuspect · 23/05/2012 18:40

I have no life , can I download one somewhere?

IamtheZombie · 23/05/2012 18:44

Zombie has a life, thank you very much. She wouldn't wish the last 8 months nor the next 14 - 15 months of it on her worst enemy.

If she chooses to spend her time on MN having a laugh and trying to hang on to her sanity, she shall do so.

Getting all frothed up about someone's thread on MN is a touch sad too..

Just sayin...

Buckingfiatch · 23/05/2012 18:47

usual, please when you find out where, could you point me in the right direction?

PinotysaurusRex · 23/05/2012 18:50

Zombie Thanks Indeed.

LadyBeagleEyes · 23/05/2012 18:53

Quite Zombie.
I've got a life too, but it's a bit shitty at the moment.
There are certain people on here that cheer me up.
It's a forum, it's supposed to be fun, or why would anyone bother?

PinotysaurusRex · 23/05/2012 18:54

See I don't really have a life.

But I do use MN for support, spesh atm.

I'm not at all sure what my point is.

As per.

ScrambledSmegs · 23/05/2012 18:56

I thought this thread was about reaching critical mass of all who'd been accused of being royalty, in a clique/quiche or being bjullying bjitches?

LadyBeagleEyes · 23/05/2012 18:58

You really have to change these pants Pinot.
Uncomfortable pants bring out the worse in people.
Embrace your VPL.

ScrambledSmegs · 23/05/2012 18:59

Er, sorry, posted too soon.

And so therefore we'd be in the majority. Sort of. Am I right?

PinotysaurusRex · 23/05/2012 19:01

LadyBE :( Sorry

MyDogShitsMoney · 23/05/2012 19:01

Definitely not!

I can attest to the fact that bumbling around sticking your oar in sporadically is not the way to ascend the ranks.

It is however how I enjoy MN. I have had amazing, actual-life-changing, advice and have also had some humdinging rows.

Some posts I love, some have me rofling all over the shop, some are minging, some piss me off, some make me arse twitchingly furious! But I genuinely just see each post on it's own.

Of course there are the regular names I recognise but just because I loved what they said 2 minutes ago doesn't mean something they said 2 days ago didn't have me panting with fury!

I don't think I'd do well in a quiche. I'm not funny, have a shit memory and type reeaaally slowly.

gomowthelawn · 23/05/2012 19:04

hurricanewyn I nearly missed that. My one and only fan

TrinityIsAFuckingRhino · 23/05/2012 19:06

I've been accused of being royalty more than once
