Argh I saved enough points for a set meal for two at a Conran restaurant in London... Received an email this am reminding me to book to use my points before they expire.

So I click on the link to book and they've changed the system and send crappy dining cheques instead. I wanted the meal! How Dan they just change the system with no warning and even send reminder emails today to do something g that's no longer possible?!

Can you not pay for a meal with dining cheques?

I think I'll have to - the problem was you could have had a meal for two free but £27 won't go as far.

Oh well - better than nothing I suppose just fed up with the customer service (lack of!)

YANBU.. It happened to me yesterday and worst thing was I was already at the restaurant with the points taken off at the time of booking. I got there only to be delayed for 30 minutes while the staff contacted Toptable who informed me my points have been refunded to my account and I should have my meal as normal and earn 200 points and I would be able to redeem the points another day. I was so mad!! Needless to say, I have complained..

how did the complaint go mama? that's awful? apparently you can no longer use points for meals at all?

i also tried to complain but hit a brick wall as the customer service team including management were rude!

I've just seem this too. So annoyed.

The points I had were worth a free meal for two in a nice brasserie.
Now they're worth £20?
