AIBU to turn down this opportunity?

Okay, well, here we go.

Initially I did a very generic degree then a PGCE to be a teacher. And hated it. I battled through to qualifying, and then took a job in a completely different field, caring, and love it (much to my surprise). So much so I applied to be a nurse and was accepted.

But now, I am ridiculously broody, and am thinking of just staying in my lovely job with my lovely old people and not taking three years of placements and essays and STRESS on again. I don't know if I can cope.

So maybe I'll just stay, and earn very little in a job I enjoy, and not have to worry about putting my boyfriend and life on hold to train again. I just don't know.

I just want a family at this point (or you know starting one in the next three years).

AIBU?

No but think long term and about the costs of tht family later on. Do you genuinely think you can get by on what you earn now?

If so then why put yourself through it.
