.... hadnt just told me he was up until 3am with his kids as the family has a D&V bug, whilst he manhandled my fruit and veg?

I feel for him I do, and he can't have a day off work as his kids are sick, and I did chat to him nicely about kids as DD practically flung herself around his neck like an attention starved puppy (she has a thing about men who bring her smoothies Hmm).

But at 2weeks off due date I at pretty much everything and am now convinced DD or I will catch it, I just didn't want to know!

No YANBU. I had something very similar happen to me when I was a week off my due date with DC2 and even DC1 got caught in the antibac spray crossfire.

I'm sure it will all be fine but maybe just give everything an extra long wash... just in case...

YABU! i presume you wash your fruit and veg anyways. and who's to know what kind of hygiene the guy/girl has that packs them on the display in the supermarket. ffs you could get a d&v bug anywhere!!

anyways, wash everything before eating and best of luck in 2 weeks, congrats!

You won't likely be struck down with D&V because the guy who delivered your (packaged?) groceries has children who have a bug.
And I'd take the opportunity to teach your DD about boundaries. That could have made him very uncomfortable.

aw i dunno about that how old is your DD?

Softlysoftly · 21/05/2012 15:33

I know IABU I just didn't want to know, ignorance is bliss!

Curiosity I meant "practically" she didn't really strangle the poor guy she just followed him around the kitchen at his heels with puppy dog eyes asking him to look at her fabulous block tower and if he had brought her smoothies again and again and again. She is only 2.

I wouldn't have minded though, he was fairly easy on the eye Grin not sure my hole ridden maternity belegginged look would be enough of a draw though, and then there's the pesky DH issue.
