whats going on with the linked advertisement links on threads?

Anybody else noticed this, alot of the threads ive been on have clicky links, but when you click them, thinking it was a prom dress etc... (from the prom dress link) Im getting a win a ipod/ipad/xbox, take this 30 second survey etc...

I found it, it was a torrent that dh downloaded, for film etc... Ive uninstalled everything that he messed up, scanned and now my laptop is back in working order.
