Roast chicken is in the oven, cooked . Baked potatoes are done. Salad just needs to be chucked in bowl. I am working (and yes, online a bit). Dh is sitting on sofa after an afternoon nap. DS needs to be fed. Groceries need to be packed away. Washing is outside and will probably be raining shortly.

Yes, I did ask DH to sort stuff out. He did not reply because he is also online (bit of theme here).I know i am NOT being unreasonable, but I need a sort of safe space to S C R E A M.

Tell him to sort the food out and you'll get the washing in.

I would be saying:

Ok DH dinners ready. Will you sort the salad and plate up or get
The washing in? Choice is yours. We'll put the shopping away together after dinner

Granny, good point. Best I leave it tonight as "D"H is clearly looking for a fight tonight and I just cannot be arsed. Too busy, too tired, too much to do. I am a childminder and I am being inspected soonish by OFSTED so my attention is diverted from DS and DH. H seems to think that I am being unreasonable by trying to get outstanding from OFSTED. He seems to see it as a personal affront that I take my work seriously.
