I have a huge load of work to do, will be stuck on laptop all weekend. DH has exam and has done a bit of revision but tons of housework needed too...Guess who will end up doing it??

IMO exam would generally supercede the work, however I have an exam next week and have done the house work too as DH has work on too and to be honest he wouldn't care that much if it wasn't done, which is fine. If I didn't have time with all the studying then I would just leave it - no one will be that affected by a messy/dirty house for a few days!

Lol! Yeah I suppose. It just stresses me out. And I have a pretty tight deadline for it as going on maternity soon.

And I don't mind but does watching sport supercede exams and housework? Grin cos that's what's happening. My sulking on MN won't help me though...

Ha ha, that sounds more like it - that is definitely unreasonable but I have come to learn that men just do not see the mess in a house in the way we do - will he help if you actually ask him outright?

My DH said to me when we moved in together 'I won't think to do anything to do with housework or tidying but if you need me to do something just ask and I will happily do it!' Grin

Yeah he is fairly tidy and I can get a little neurotic about such things especially when I feel under pressure. I'm going to have a general whip round now and leave him wondering where the ironed clothes are on Monday morning Grin

I'll just wait until exams are over and pounce with the fact the lawns need doing!
