to keep my DS away?

DS1 who's 5 has been invited round to play with a boy in the year above him.
The boy is very rough and boisterous, but his twin sister is the real problem. According to another Mum (reliable source) the little girl tried to put a polythene bag over the head of a younger child "til she dies!"
From what I understand, the mum did very little and the matter ended up being reported to the school so that something could be done.
She's a single parent and I know she struggles with six year old twins but FFS!
I'm thinking I'll make an excuse and stay away. AIBU?

Hmm. Could you invite the boy to the park? Seems unfair on the boy, even if he is very energetic.

YANBU . I wouldn't. Unless like Lady said, it was outdoor play away from the other child (scary)

Has the other mum posted on here already? The 'til she dies' bag bit sounds very familier

candytuft63 · 17/05/2012 19:43

Ooh yes, it does [tries to remember when I saw this]

Why don't you invite the little boy to yours?
It would be good for him, you'd get to know him and it might give the other mum a break!

puds11 · 17/05/2012 19:47

it was on a couple of days ago im sure

Noooo! The only place for boisterous boys is the park. There's less chance of them breaking something. Wink
