To stop gossiping and giggling and actually start revising?
Oh for the days of the strict librarian. Am tryi g to do my own revision but keeping being distracted by mumsnet teens eating crisps and sniggering at each other.

That's teenagers for you.

Suggest you find somewhere else to revise.

Sparklingbrook · 17/05/2012 15:28

Crisps in the library? Shock

I suggest the teenagers go elsewhere TBH.

Aboutlastnight · 17/05/2012 15:40

Earplugs? iPod? Crisps of your own?

Abra1d · 17/05/2012 15:48

'That's teenagers for you.

They need to behave, she shouldn't have to move. Glad they have settled down. I have teenagers and if they behave badly in public areas they know they will be rollocked. By me, if I find out.

Just ask them to be quiet - they won't mug you!

Frontpaw · 17/05/2012 15:52

Last time I was trying to study in a library it was the librarians huddled around a desk gassing and cackling loudly.

AgentProvocateur · 17/05/2012 15:55

Hmm, that might be my teen. Are they "studying" Higher maths? Are you near Glasgow? If you are, and it is mine, feel free to tell him to shut up. Wink

I'm amazed at the amount of food revision seems to require for your average teen.

They each have a Starbucks smoothie thing, fizzy drinks, crisps. There is much furrowing of brows over textbook before going back to phone/ boy/ girl opposite.

They seem like nice kids do am not making a fuss. And frankly I am do bored I would be gassing away if I had a pal with me too

A couple appear to have spent several weeks on a sun bed. They are orange
